Dr. Luisa Weinzierl is the founding Director of Lorino Associates Limited.
A multi-lingual senior human resource professional, a lecturer in international business and specialist intercultural business coach with proven ability to stimulate and engage clients in their professional development, Luisa brings a wealth of research and personal experience to her teaching and lecturing.
She has worked in senior leadership roles in the Far East, Africa, Europe, and the Middle East, in several sectors, enhancing people management in complex multicultural environments through personal coaching, intercultural communication, training programmes and speaking engagements.
Fluent in German, French with a good working knowledge of Russian, Luisa's strengths lie in working with international executives to introduce and sustain successful change, develop capability at all levels and initiate effective people strategies and practice. Her coaching facilitates individuals to refocus, develop self-awareness and capability to achieve their goals.
Luisa also helps geographically dispersed teams to develop vision and strategies, supporting joint ventures and M&A integration processes from the cultural perspective.
Luisa is motivated by knowing that with the right strategies, tools and coaching, the ability to grasp untapped potential to achieve extraordinary things is available to everyone. The process is about assisting and transforming people to achieve their own unique potential by facilitating better understanding of the sources and contexts of what may prevent them applying their strengths and talents effectively.
Luisa has extensive international industry experience, having worked for Global IT Services, Management Consulting, and Financial Services firms. Her professional and academic projects cover topics such as: International HRM and Talent Management, Leadership, Change Management and Organisational Development and Design.
A passionate and consummate professional with a PhD in International Business Management, researching the challenges of multilingualism in multinational teams, Luisa is a rigorously trained thinker. with a proven ability to figure out efficient solutions to complex people problems. She is a Chartered Fellow of CIPD, a full member of the Association for Coaching, a member of the British Psychological Society and is an experienced and fully accredited Business Coach through the Meyler Campbell Mastered Programme.
